Description
I received "Effets de Neige" ("Impressionist in Winter") as a gift and became enamored with the wonderful paintings in the book and decided to try my hand with the style. I used one of my photos of a stand of pine trees at my home in upstate NY as reference. The hardest part was getting a picture of the finished work. The brush work seemed to catch the light more than the actual painting.
